Individual Units

The Affordable Housing Department manages several single-family and duplex rental units located throughout DeKalb County. These properties provide affordable rental housing in a single family setting that serves as an alternative to traditional apartment living. These scattered site rental units have been completely renovated and are contributing to the revitalization of the community where they are located. These homes have 2 to 3 bedrooms and include central heat & air, washer/dryer connections, and all appliances.

This program is designed to provide affordable housing to individuals and families. Vacant single family homes were purchased from HUD and completely renovated to County Code standards. Rents range from $550 to $650 monthly. All 24 homes are leased to eligible low-income residents.
